Meet Neal W. Zoromski, a seasoned property master who has worked on timeless hits with icons like Aaron Spelling and David Fincher. Starting as an art department assistant at Roger Corman‘s legendary B-movie studio, Neal honed his expertise and was soon working on multi-million dollar music videos for renowned artists like Madonna and Guns N’ Roses. From there, he delved into diverse projects spanning movies, TV, and commercials, including his role as a property master for the Golden Globe-nominated film Thank You for Smoking, along with contributions to TV classics like 7th Heaven and the first season of Criminal Minds. Passionate about giving back to the industry, Neal proudly serves as historian for the new professional organization Property Masters Guild (PMG), which already has over 300 members. What is the key to finding success in the entertainment industry?
“The key is to learn as much as you can on the job. My work opportunities are many and varied due to having a good skill set that has been honed over 25+ years of working in the industry. I’m grateful for my entertainment industry family and proud to be a PMG and Local No. 44 member.”
What inspired you to pursue a career as a property master?
“After I graduated from Boston College, I planned to go into the pharmaceutical industry. But a friend referred me for a gig as an art department assistant at Roger Corman’s studio, where working on the 1990 film The Haunting of Morella started a career that I’m grateful for.”
