Lisa Stewart

After graduating with a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University, destiny eventually steered Lisa away from a career in law enforcement and toward a successful stint in the entertainment industry. Coincidentally, it was a compelling CSI: New York spec script that landed her a big-time Hollywood agent and burgeoning writing career. We’re proud that the talented Television Writer is also a member of First Entertainment. We chatted with Lisa to find out how the Credit Union is helping her reach her financial goals!

What is the key to finding success in the entertainment industry?

“Write about what you know. Now that I have a television writing credit under my belt, I have a handful of drama pilots touching different areas of my life that I’m preparing for my next writer’s room. I’m sharing all my stories, the ups and the downs.”

“Although I love going into my branch where the tellers know me by name, I use digital banking frequently, including for check deposits. I also love the credit score feature!”
