Los Angeles-based still photographer Lisa Rose has one of the most exciting and eclectic work portfolios in the entertainment industry. She earned her place in the International Cinematographers Guild by crafting an incredible array of photographic stills for feature films, television, and new media that includes Oscar winners, legendary comedians, and even a former First Lady. What is the key to finding success in the entertainment industry?

“For me personally, the key to finding success in the entertainment industry has been my unwavering perseverance, exercising my resilience muscle, showing up with my A Game, and securing a Plan B because show business can be unpredictable.”

What inspired you to want to pursue an entertainment career as a still photographer?

“I have always enjoyed the movie-going experience. As a child, then later as a teenager, I was captivated by the movie stills that were featured at the entrances and vestibules of theaters. Studios used these photos to grab the attention of people passing by on the street.

These stills made me want to see the film, and I wanted to be the photographer that made those images! Today, my photos are seen worldwide in magazines, billboards, and social media.”

“First Entertainment understands my banking needs as a project-based employee more so than other banking institutions that are more accustomed to working with clients who maintain steady employment or have only one employer.
