Expert Panel: Building An Acting Career In Today’s Entertainment Industry

First Entertainment Credit Union, the premier financial partner to creators in the entertainment community, is proud to present “Building an Acting Career in Today’s Industry,” an industry expert panel providing advice and guidance for actors starting a career in entertainment. The hour-long virtual event will be held on March 24th, 2023 at 6:00 PM PST.

“It’s our mission to help creatives and part of that is providing them with the support network they need to succeed in the industry,” said Stephen Owen, President and CEO of First Entertainment Credit Union. “Our goal is to offer education, advice and encouragement to the entertainment community beyond the financial aspect of their careers so they can learn new skills, receive guidance from experts and find mentors who will lead them toward professional success.”

The industry panel will include a talent manager, casting director, actors and coaches who have helped actors achieve successful careers during the past several years. They will discuss how to navigate today’s competitive industry, best practices when it comes to auditioning and the state of entertainment in the 21st century. Panelists include Burbank International Film Festival President and talent manager Kurt Patino, actor Elena Campbell-Martinez, actor and acting coach Anna LaMadrid and casting director and career coach Erica S. Bream.

During the event, panelists will take live questions from the audience and speak on the importance of mental, emotional and financial health. Those wanting to jumpstart their entertainment careers or looking towards make a shift into the industry will benefit from attending the event.
