Anita Otano

Anita Otano’s passion for storytelling and its transformative nature fueled her ambition to pursue a career in entertainment. Growing up in Philadelphia, films and television served as her window to the world—learning lessons from cautionary tales, historical insights, and various cultural norms. These experiences not only entertained but profoundly shaped her perspectives and opinions. Driven by the power of storytelling, Anita aspires to challenge stereotypes and redefine narratives through her creative work. Her goal is to contribute to the legacy and art that will resonate with generations to come.

How would you compare your experiences with First Entertainment with other financial institutions that you have banked with?

“I love that I am usually able to speak with someone right away, particularly [with] people who truly serve the customer’s needs.”

What has your experience been like using our digital banking? 

“As a producer, there have been times when I have had huge checks to deposit, and instead of putting a hold on the funds, that were often needed immediately for production expenses, I was able to access the funds right away.”

Tell us something about yourself you would like the entertainment community and First Entertainment CU family to know.

“The key to finding success in the entertainment industry is being able to establish and retain relationships.  It sounds cliche to say networking because it’s much more than collecting business cards. People [want to] work with people they like.”
