How do I place a stop payment on a Cashier’s Check?

You can place a stop payment on a cashier’s check through Digital Banking, the First Entertainment mobile app, or by contacting us directly. Stop payments are only available for checks that are lost, stolen, or destroyed, and a fee may apply.

Place a Stop Payment in Digital Banking

  1. Log in to Digital Banking.
  2. Select More Services.
  3. Click Submit a Dispute.
  4. Choose your account and select Dispute a Charge.
  5. Under Transaction Method, select Stop Payment – Cashier’s Check.
  6. Select your account type.
  7. Enter a detailed description of your request.
  8. Review the claim information and select the reason.
  9. Agree to disclosures.
  10. Add the transaction and enter the check number.
  11. Review and eSign.
  12. Complete the questionnaire and upload any required documents.

Place a Stop Payment in the Mobile App

  1. Log in to the First Entertainment Mobile App.
  2. Tap More, then select More Services.
  3. Tap Submit a Dispute.
  4. Select your account and tap Dispute a Charge.
  5. Under Transaction Method, choose Stop Payment – Cashier’s Check.
  6. Select your account type.
  7. Enter a detailed description.
  8. Review and select the reason.
  9. Agree to disclosures.
  10. Add the transaction and enter the check number.
  11. Review and eSign.
  12. Complete the questionnaire and upload any documents.
