Hot Jobs : Now, and for the Future
In our quest to help our members make smart decisions about their lives, their careers and their finances, we went looking for information that might help those currently going through a job search. If you're gainfully employed but just contemplating a change, good for you. If you're still looking for a job right now, perhaps this information can help.
At the top of the hot jobs lists, the market for software developers is red hot right now and shows no sign of slowing down. Demand for a variety of applications is growing as we utilize more and more mobile devices and gaming consoles, and as more and more of our computer services and storage move to the cloud. These applications rule our lives today and they'll continue to be a more ever present part of our future. It's a widely held belief in employment circles – those who learn how to build the applications that run on these devices will most likely be sifting through job offers for years to come.
Also, on most lists, are jobs in healthcare – nurses, physical therapists, dental hygienists and hospital/healthcare management. Biotech jobs will be hot; so will jobs in the finance sector, related to investing. These positions point to a marketplace that will need to cater to an aging baby boomer population, where a greater need will be placed on keeping boomers healthy and financially sound well into their 80's and 90's.
But, there are also jobs in education and human resources on most lists. And there's no denying that high-tech computer jobs will remain in demand. From software engineers and web developers, to systems analysts and programmers. And that goes for all the current and future high-tech jobs in the entertainment industry.
