Forbes Top 10 in California

First Entertainment Credit Union Has Been Named One of America’s Best by Forbes

As community based financial lenders, credit unions were heavily relied upon by locals experiencing economic hardship during the coronavirus pandemic. First Entertainment Credit Union’s steadfast dedication to supporting members, the men and women who work in and support the entertainment industry, whose incomes were upended during a financially turbulent time landed in the top 10 of Forbes Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions ranking.

“Receiving this recognition speaks volumes about the experience we provide to our members and only spotlights why we’re the premier financial resource for those in the entertainment community,” said Lisa Landt, President and Chief Executive Officer at First Entertainment.

To compile its list, Forbes partnered with marketing research firm Statista and surveyed nearly 25,000 Americans about their current and former banking relationships. Consumers scored financial institutions based on their overall satisfaction and recommendations, as well as trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice. First Entertainment ranked ninth among all credit unions in California and in the top 3.6% of credit unions out of 5,068 nationwide while managing $2 billion in assets for its nearly 90,000 members.

First Entertainment’s high rating comes from its commitment to serving the unique financial needs of the entertainment community by prioritizing the obligations of their members.

“In what has been a challenging year of financial uncertainty for many Californians, especially those in the entertainment industry, First Entertainment continues to put member needs first and truly make a difference,” Landt said.
