BRANCH MANAGER (Warner Bros./Paramount Studios : FULL-time)
As the Branch Manager, you'll be the key player to ensuring the successful operations of two of our studio lot branches. You will report directly to our Vice President, Branches.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing enthusiastic leadership, management, and guidance to your branch staff while meeting or exceeding branch and individual goals.
- Successfully growing new membership through business development in Encino and the surrounding communities.
- Providing excellent member service both internally and externally, focusing on teamwork.
- Educating members or potential members on products and services while offering comprehensive solutions to meet their needs.
- Ensuring all State, Federal, and internal compliance requirements are met.
- Ensuring operational needs and requirements of the branch are adhered too, such as: training, work schedules, staff supervisions, etc.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Branch hours will be Monday – Saturday. Though we plan a five-day work week, you may at times be required to work six days.
Requirements:
- High school graduate, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred, or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Minimum of five years branch management in a mid-size or larger credit union or bank branch.
- Business development experience required.
- Lending experience and/or experience opening a new branch preferred.
- Possess excellent customer service and sales skills. Solid math skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Ability to resolve inter-personal conflict and miscommunications.
- Possess thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and represent the Credit Union positively with members, co-workers and management. A significant level of trust and diplomacy required, in addition to courtesy and tact.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusion or approaches to complex problems.

BRANCH SERVICE SPECIALIST (Encino : part-time)
The Branch Service Specialist position is responsible for providing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, opening and renewing certificates, opening IRA accounts, assisting members with their financial needs, and may accept and input consumer loan applications. Will cross-sell products and services – duties include making contact with members regarding all services offered by the credit union.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Actively identify opportunities and needs to effectively cross-sell products and services that meet member needs.
- Accurately present information and perform tasks associated with opening and closing various account types offered by the credit union.
- Resolve member's requests, inquires, or questions in a timely and professional manner.
- May serve as vault custodian and perform all related tasks as necessary.
- Serve in a dual control capacity for operational tasks to ensure adequate controls are maintained where appropriate; this can be associated with card issuance systems, branch opening and closing, cash counts, and cash and negotiable instrument controls.
- Promptly and accurately complete required reports and records.
- Provide support and oversight to co-workers to meet member service needs.
This part-time, non-exempt position has work hours generally between 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday - Thursday, and either 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM on Friday; flexibility for Friday hours required, as the credit union is open longer on that day. Saturday hours will likely be required.

CENTRAL OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE (Hollywood : FULL-time)
Under moderate supervision and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, this role is responsible for the efficient, effective, timely processing of all work relating to the review and transmission of check images to the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB). This role is also responsible for creating and distributing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Central Operations reports for management and special projects as assigned by the department Manager or Director. Ensures that members and vendors receive timely responses and a high level of accurate, courteous service at every point of contact. Performs a variety of tasks.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensures that assigned deadline-related work is processed timely and accurately.
- Communicates with members or third-party processors by mail, E-mail or telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Identifies and reports systemic issues to improve processes and products.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains and projects the Credit Union’s professional reputation and image.

CONSUMER LOAN CLERK (Hollywood : FULL-time)
This position communicates with consumer loan applicants to elicit information via telephone, fax, e-mail or in person. Discuss products and services to help member determine the best loan products for their needs. Forward finding, reports and documents for approval decision. Answer questions regarding loan eligibility and lending criteria. Handle members’ concerns regarding servicing of their loans. Fully explain how interest is calculated and accrued. Complete loan files for Imaging Department. Make loan payment corrections, interest adjustments and recalculate payments. Cross-sell all products and services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Communicates with members by mail, telephone, or in person concerning their inquiries, application process and loan servicing in a friendly and effective manner.
- Understands and communicates properly the credit granting criteria, laws, rules and regulations in order to verify and examine information.
- Understands and communicates proper interest rates in order to explain disclosure, calculate, review and correct errors using computer and/or calculator.
- Process loan applications and information using computer.
- Interview applicants to obtain personal and financial data to complete loan application over the telephone.
- Records applications for loan and credit, loan information, and disbursement of funds using computer.
- Submits loan application with recommendation for underwriting approval.
- Assist loan funders by obtaining necessary documentation and information to complete loan file.

- After proper identification of caller is established performs non-cash teller transactions to service the loan file.
- Performs general clerical tasks such as ordering supplies, posting walk-in payments, reversing misposted payments, interest adjustments handling incoming faxes and keeping work area neat and organized.

Reviews loan papers to ensure completeness, and complete transactions between Credit Union and member borrowers. And assists in the cross-selling of products.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Communicates with members by mail, telephone, or in person concerning their inquiries, concerns and information needed in a friendly and effective manner.
- Understands and communicates properly the credit granting criteria, laws, rules and regulations in order to verify and examine information.

- Records applications for loan and credit, loan information, and disbursement of funds using computer.
- Submits loan application with recommendation for underwriting approval.
Contacts credit bureaus, employers, and other sources to check applicant credit and personal references.
- Balances work accurately and timely each work day.
- Acts as backup receptionist when needed.
- Performs general clerical tasks such as ordering supplies, posting walk-in payments, setting appointments, handling incoming faxes and keeping work area neat and organized.
