ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER    (Studio City : FULL-time)


The Assistant Branch Manager will be involved in overseeing the daily operations of the branch. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assisting members with teller, new accounts or loan transactions.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Branch Manager with the effective and efficient performance of Branch sales, service and operations.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in the effective supervision, coaching, directing, and appraising of staff.
  • Supervise work scheduling and workflow on daily operations.
  • Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines and within legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise member service functions that meet member needs.
  • Implement changes to policies, procedures and guidelines within the Branch.


Branch hours will be Monday – Saturday. Though we plan a five-day work week, you may at times be required to work six days, flexibility required with overtime as needed. 


Requirements: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of related experience with a full-time financial institution.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year supervisory experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills including excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong inter-personal leadership and supervisory skills. Problem-solving, organizationial, and follow-up skills a must.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The Branch Service Specialist position is responsible for providing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, opening and renewing certificates, opening IRA accounts, assisting members with their financial needs, and may accept and input consumer loan applications. Will cross-sell products and services – duties include making contact with members regarding all services offered by the credit union.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Actively identify opportunities and needs to effectively cross-sell products and services that meet member needs.
  • Accurately present information and perform tasks associated with opening and closing various account types offered by the credit union.
  • Resolve member's requests, inquires, or questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • May serve as vault custodian and perform all related tasks as necessary.
  • Serve in a dual control capacity for operational tasks to ensure adequate controls are maintained where appropriate; this can be associated with card issuance systems, branch opening and closing, cash counts, and cash and negotiable instrument controls.
  • Promptly and accurately complete required reports and records.
  • Provide support and oversight to co-workers to meet member service needs.


The part-time, non-exempt position has 22-24 work hours per week and requires Saturday hours. 


Requirements: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Work related experience or related college experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience is required. Minimum of two to three years of experience as a Teller at a full-service financial institution.
  • Great customer service and sales skills

FINANCIAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE              (Burbank : FULL-time)


This role is responsible for providing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, opening and renewing certificates, opening IRA accounts, processing and funding consumer loans, HELOC’s, and assisting members with their financial needs; Cross-sell products and services. Assist or refer members, in person or by phone, with any and all questions or problems that arise. Assist and support Tellers and Branch Manager as needed.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of sales and service to members. Supervise and assist with member service functions, cross-selling credit union products and services that meet member needs.
  • Present and explain Credit Union services and products to members and assists in meeting their financial needs. Open and close accounts, certificates and IRAs.
  • Performs duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines and within legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Receives and directs members and telephone calls. Responds to inquiries and questions or directs them as necessary. Records and relays messages.
  • Implement changes to policies, procedures and guidelines within the Branch
  • Assume responsibility for the effective performance of loan interviews. Interviews and assists members with applications for consumer loans and Credit Union services.
  • Calculates terms, finance charges, insurance rates, etc. on loans for proper disclosure on promissory notes. Receives, reviews, and processes related paperwork and refers all loan applications to Loan Officers. Follows up on paperwork to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
  • Disburses loans promptly and accurately.
  • Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members. Ensure member requests and questions are promptly resolved. Handle member complaints.
  • Ensure members are informed of Credit Union products, services, policies and procedures. Counsel members regarding their financial needs and service requests.
    Ensure the Credit Union's reputation for quality and professionalism is maintained and projected.
  • Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with co-workers, other department personnel and management.
  • Fill in and perform duties of other Branch staff as needed or required. Keep supervisor informed of area activities and significant problems. Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.
  • Assume responsibility for related job functions as required or assigned. Attend assigned training sessions and stay current on new operation and lending policies and procedures.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality according to Credit Union policy. Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.

REAL ESTATE LOAN ADVISOR              (Hollywood : FULL-time)


Under close direction and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, this role will be responsible for providing member service to real estate loan applicants, and obtaining real estate loan applications through the branch network, telephone and walk-in members. 


Your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Obtaining Real Estate loan applications through the branch network as well as telephone and walk in members.
  • Preparing 1st mortgage loan files for underwriter review.
  • Obtain loan applications from Mortgagebot and transmit to Encompass daily; submit loan through Encompass and download to Automated Underwriting System to obtain approval.
  • Obtain all conditions required from the borrower (I.e. income, documentation, bank statements, escrow instructions). Analyze income.
  • Prequalify members based upon information provided.
  • Send disclosures and credit letter to borrower. Prepare and send lock letter upon borrower acceptance.
  • Providing support to Loan Advisors and Loan Consultants.
  • Provide information to members regarding program type, terms and rates.
  • Informing and advising members of the most appropriate financing options available to them.
  • Resolve member's requests, inquires, or questions in a timely and professional manner.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position has work hours generally between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. 

Requirements: 

  •  High school graduate, vocation training, or job-related coursework or related work experience required.
  • A minimum of three years previous work related skill, knowledge, or experience in an office setting is required.
  • Great customer service and sales skills
  • Good verbal/written communication skills, good problem-solving, good computer skills.
  • Knowledge of the English language and grammar for reading and writing comprehension.
    Knowledge of basic loan processing procedures and systems. Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding real estate privacy including Reg Z and RESPA; along with strong follow through skills and detail oriented strong multi tasking skills.
  • Notary Public certification may be required; and Mortgage Loan Originator registration will be required.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, responsibilities and/or projects.

REAL ESTATE LOAN FUNDER              (Hollywood : FULL-time)


The Real Estate Loan Funder will provide member service to real estate loan applicants and borrowers, and provide support to the Real Estate Lending Management and staff.  This person will provide members with information regarding real estate and home equity loan products and services; review loan applications to ensure completeness, and assist in the cross-selling of products.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently handling a moderate volume of 1st mortgage loan files within the funding cycle.
  • Preparing 1st mortgage loan files for underwriter final review. Preparing the loan documents.
  • Coordinating the document signing with borrowers, boarding the real estate loans, and coordinating the disbursement of loan funds.
  • Order /follow up with vendors for appraisal title, flood certification, when needed due to loan volume. Order payments for payoffs and subordinations.
  • Prepare 1008 and 1003 and submit real estate loan file to underwriter for final approval.
  • Coordinate with title/escrow regarding wire instructions.
  • Board the loan through Encompass in Fannie Mae format.
  • Fund loan through approved lending procedure. Obtain recording confirmation and final figures from title escrow.


This is a full-time, non-exempt position with work hours generally between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.   


Requirements: 

  • High school diploma, vocational training, job-related course work or related work experience required.
  • A minimum of three years previous work related skill, knowledge, or experience in a loan department/mortgage setting.
  • Knowledge of basic loan processing procedures and systems. Knowledge of impound accounts, mortgage insurance.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding real estate and privacy.
  • Ability to prioritize according to an order or set of rules; read, understand information and ideas, resolve problems related to real estate lending processes, documentation and systems.
